Former Senator, Shehu Sani joins PDP

FRIDAY- 17th September, 2021: Senator Shehu Sani has joined the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
Sani who represented Kaduna Central in the eighth assembly joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after leaving the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in July.
This was confirmed by his aide, Suleiman Ahmed.
“Yes, Distinguished Senator Shehu Sani has finally settled to join the PDP but official ceremony and reception will be in the next two weeks all things being equal,” Suleiman Ahmed said.
He said Sani confirmed his defection on Thursday when he had a meeting with PDP stakeholders in Kaduna.
Sani’s defection to the PDP comes as one of the party’s chieftains Femi Fani-Kayode moved to the APC.
