Emeritus Archbishop Alaba Job celebrates 50th Episcopal Ordination anniversary, urges Nigerians to be change agent

Saturday, 3rd July 2021: Emeritus Archbishop Felix Alaba Adeosin Job on Saturday urged Nigerian Christians to be true Christians and be an agent of change for the transformation and development of the country.

He spoke at the reception of his 50th Episcopal Ordination anniversary held at Pope John Paul II Hall, Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

 

The former Catholic Archbishop of Ibadan said while he was talking about been an agent of change, he was not referring to change, some politicians do promise but true change agent in all ramifications for a better nation.

 

He also asked Christians to always hope in God who he said never fails those who trust in Him.

 

The thanksgiving mass and reception was attended by who is who in the society and legion of clergy and concentrated persons from the Catholic Church and eminent laity of the Church from across the country. Among those that attended the Thanksgiving Mass and Reception: His Grace Most Rev Dr Gabriel Leke Abegunrin, Catholic Archbishop of Ibadan, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr Emmanuel Badejo, Catholic Bishop of Oyo Diocese, His Excellency, Dr Kayode Fayemi , Executive Governor of Ekiti State.

Recall the 50th Episcopal Ordination anniversary of Emeritus Archbishop Felix Alaba Adeosin Job kicked off with the turning of the Sod of a special project in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo state on Wednesday, 30th June 2021, followed by a mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oke Ado on Friday, the 2nd of July 2021 before the Grand Finale which is the Thanksgiving Mass that was held at St. Mary Cathedral, Oke Padi, Ibadan earlier on Saturday 3rd July
