Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly abducted two couples in Sheda village in Kwali area council of Abuja.

A relative of the couple who resides in Goni Gora Kaduna, Alih Moses told newsmen, on Monday, that his elder brother, Mr Sunday Odoma Ojarume and his wife Mrs Janet Odoma Ojarume were kidnapped from their residence on Sunday morning, as the gunmen entered the community with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically.

The relative said the kidnappers positioned themselves at strategic places within the community before other gangs scaled the fence of the victims’ building and whisked them away at gunpoint.

The community, Sheda village was tensed on Sunday, because of the sporadic shooting by the kidnappers who positioned themselves at strategic places, before they kidnapped the couple.

He said the bandits’ leader released the wife as they were being led to the forest, asking her to go source for ransom.
