The estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Evangelist Naomi Silekunola, has urged abused wives who realise that their marriages can’t work to quit.
The 28-year-old evangelist who made the disclosure on her verified social media accounts on Monday, said married women should stop seeking societal validation, and shunned those who can’t reason with their sufferings.
Olori Naomi who was reacting to the death of popular gospel artiste, Osinachi Nwachukwu, who reportedly died as a victim of gender-based violence urged women to say no even if the world can’t reason with you to marriage that has refused to work. 
She also noted thatt he late Osinachi’s songs ministered to her several times.
Recall that Olori Naomi announced her separation from the monarch through an Instagram post in December 2021. She had also renounced the title of a ‘Queen’, saying she tried to make the three-year union work but the Ooni’s public identity is at variance with “his true self”.
