Nigeria's Super Falcons have arrived in Casablanca ahead of their highly anticipated quarter-final clash against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The eagerly awaited last-eight encounter is scheduled to take place at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca on Sunday, with kick-off set for 6:00 p.m. Nigerian time.

Ahead of the trip, the Super Falcons held their final training session in Rabat on Friday morning at the ASFAR Training Centre as head coach Justine Madugu put his players through their paces in preparation for the crucial tie.

If the defending champions secure victory over Cameroon, they will return to Rabat for the semi-finals, where they will face either tournament hosts Morocco's Atlas Lionesses or South Africa's Banyana Banyana.

Nigeria played all three of their group-stage matches in Rabat, taking on Malawi, Zambia and Egypt. The Super Falcons advanced to the knockout stage after finishing second in their group behind Malawi's Scorchers.

Cameroon, meanwhile, progressed as Group D winners with seven points, finishing ahead of Ghana's Black Queens.

With a place in the semi-finals at stake, Sunday's encounter is expected to be a fiercely contested battle between two of Africa's most successful women's football nations.
