The Super Eagles will set up camp in Lagos for this month’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.

The encounter is slated for the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia on Sunday, June 18.

The stadium has an artificial turf, so the Nigeria Football Federation has made arrangements for the team to train at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan which has a similar playing surface.

The Super Eagles are expected to begin preparations for the game on June 11.

Head coach Jose Peseiro, DAILY POST learnt, has sent invitations to players that will prosecute the game.

Log leaders Super Eagles need a draw from the game to qualify for AFCON 2023 which will be hosted by Cote D’Ivoire.

The Leone Stars must win to keep their qualification hopes alive.
