Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets put up a great show Saturday night, coming twice from behind to beat their South African counterparts 3-2 in a Group B encounter of the ongoing Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Algeria.
What a group that almost have a photo finish as Zambia U-17 also came from a goal behind to beat Morocco.
Nigeria and Morocco, therefore, ended the group with six points apiece.
But it is Morocco that emerges leader of head-to-head rule.
It will be recalled that the Golden Eaglets defeated Zambia 1-0 in their first Group B but lost by the same margin to Morocco in their second match.
