Peter Obi, Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate will on Friday address the audience at the Abuja Leadership Centre of the University of Abuja.
The LP candidate is expected to contribute to ongoing conversations on the 2023 general elections at the Social Sciences Auditorium of the school.
The Director of the Centre, Professor Philip Afaha, in a statement, said, “Peter Obi’s appearance follows the earlier Townhall which featured Mike Igini, Clement Nwankwo and Umaru Ndatsu.”
We’ve also written to all the Presidential candidates to take advantage of our Centre’s Town Hall,” he noted.
The centre is a fully funded leadership research and training hub in Abuja, the first of its kind in Africa and tailored like the Harvard Kennedy School in the US and other top leadership institutes across the world. It currently runs Masters and Ph.D programmes in various leadership courses.
The Abuja Leadership Centre is also poised to be the fulcrum for a conversation on public governance and leadership in Nigeria.
