APC governors visit Wike in Rivers

The Governors of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade and Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, on Wednesday, paid a visit to the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, at his country home in Rumueprikon, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of the State.
Recall that Umahi and Ayade were former members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), before joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was reported that Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, who is also an ally to Wike later joined the meeting.
It was reported that as soon as the guest governors arrived, they were welcomed by their host and immediately ushered into a closed door meeting.
The agenda of the meeting was not disclosed.
CEOAFRICA had reported that Wike and four other Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors have been fighting for equity and justice in the party. The governors also called for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
