The National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), will be held overnight in Abuja.
The NEC meeting was convened by the leadership of ASUU to deliberate and make final decision on the lingering eight month strike.
A source, who spoke to Newsmen said; “We will have a meeting today and it will last overnight so that we will be given enough time to deliberate and make a conclusion.”
When asked if the Union will call off the strike, the source declined comments.
