Former Nigeria’s President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has said Nigeria and the world in general need God’s visitation in view of the plethora of challenges confronting them.

Obasanjo stated this on Tuesday night at a global crusade entitled, “Complete Dominion from Christ,” organised by Deeper Life Bible Church in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He pointed out that Nigeria needs men of integrity who would stand out, just like Biblical Noah stood out during his time.

The former President said Nigeria and indeed the entire world need God’s visitation.

He said, “If you consider what is going on in our cities, our states, our country, our region of West Africa, our continent and indeed our globe, our world requires a crusade of this nature.

“Some people accused us, Christians, of `religiosity’ without spirituality. Yes, that has been the position of the world even in the time of Jesus Christ, but should we lose hope? No.

“There is no time in the world when things have been bad that it is not the children of God that stood out,” he said.

Making reference to the Bible, Obasanjo observed that Noah stood out in his generation, just like Job, who God described as a man who feared him and had integrity.

He maintained that Nigeria needs such men of integrity at this period in the nation’s history.

“I believe that because of these kinds of men and women of such virtue in Nigeria, God will open his eyes and have mercy on this country.

“Unless those who don’t want to be honest with themselves will say that all is well, but if we trust in God and believe in Jesus Christ, all will be well.

“Children of God, whatever may be our situation, whatever may be the condition, let us have faith in God, and all will be well,” Obasanjo said.

He thanked the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, for inviting him to the global crusade.

In his sermon entitled, “The Privilege of Complete Dominion In Christ,” Pastor Kumuyi underscored the need for Christians to walk in the Spirit, rather than in the flesh.

Kumuyi enjoined Christians to remain consistent and continue in their faith for them to experience complete dominion.

He further tasked them to have dominion over sin, self, Satan and evil in the society.

The highpoint of the 6-day global crusade was salvation, healing, deliverance and miracles received by many participants at the crusade venue and various online platforms.
