Saturday 6th November: As activities at the 94th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). taking place in the Garden city of Port Harcourt come to an end today,one must mention that of all the notable and landmark activities that unfolded at the summit, a new President was elected to steer the ship of PSN .
 He is Pharm.Prof. Cyril Odianose Usifoh and in this write-up, we will unfold 10 things you probably didn’t know about this outstanding individual who became the 38th president of PSN.
* He holds a PhD from the WestfalischenWilhelms University (1992).
* He was Ag. Head of Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Dean of Pharmacy (2006-2010). 
*He is a Fellow of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (FPSN), Fellow, West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (FPCPharm) and Fellow, Nigerian Academy of Pharmacy. (FNAPharm). 
*He is  a Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, faculty of Pharmacy, University of Benin.
*He hails from Edo State, is happily married with 3 children,2 sons who are engineers and a beautiful daughter who is a pharmacist.
*He  was a two time Dean of the faculty pharmacy in UNIBEN.
*He has served as PSN Chairman in Edo state.
*He was Chairman of the National Association of Pharmacist in Academia as Editor in Chief.
*The well respected Pharmacist  became a Professor in the year 2003
*The erudite Professor and a renowned Pharmacist has a vision to have a united and progressive pharmacy family where Pharmacist are respected and increasingly relevant and adequately renumerated for their invaluable role while networking with health team members and other professionals for the growth and development of the society.
