Thursday 4 November 2021: A Special Adviser to Gov. Willie Obiano, Chief Tommy Okoli has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Alliance (APGA).

Okoli who is a former governorship aspirant, announced his defection at a rally in Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state on Thursday November 4, ahead of the governorship election scheduled in the state on Saturday November 6.

The Anambra Governor's aide revealed that he joined the PDP after a wide consultation he was engaged in.
