THURSDAY- 30^th September, 2021: The photo of Dr Chike Akunyili, the husband of late Dora Akunyili, a former NAFDAC boss has surfaced online hours before he was killed by gunmen.

He attended a meeting of the University of Nigeria Nsukka Alumni Association (UNAA) where he spoke glowingly of his late wife, late former Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Dora Akunyili, who was a member on Tuesday.

He was shot dead alongside his police escort and driver, at Afor Nkpor in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.
