Susanna Ishaya, the Chibok girl who was found wandering in the bush after being abandoned by Boko Haram has been moved to an undisclosed location Abuja for treatment.

It was gathered by The Nation that she was moved on Saturday from the Police Hospital in Yola where she had been receiving treatment.

According to the Director of Publicity, Kibaku Area Development Association (KADA), Dr. Manasseh Allen, who spoke yesterday, September 28, in Abuja at the gathering of the #BringBackOurGirls advocacy members, Susan’s identity is yet to be confirmed.

Dr. Manasseh said: “She was moved by security agencies to Abuja from Yola yesterday. Her location has not been disclosed to us, they are working on her medical condition first before they can acquire any information from her.”

According to him, they cannot depend on her words for now as she is still incoherent and keeps repeating herself and statements, while adding that there are people on standby waiting on the military authorities so that they can have access to Susanna and ensure proper medical attention is given to her

The identity of her parents is yet to be confirmed also as the parents and the Vice Principal of the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok who travelled to Yola to meet her could not see her because she was flown out without their knowledge.

“No parent has made any contact with her. As I’m speaking to you, no one can say she is from Chibok because no one is yet to meet her,” he said.

He added that it is important Susanna reunites with her family as soon as possible, saying in every rehabilitation, family is essential in the healing process.

Some time last week, a girl suspected to be one of the missing Chibok girls was found close to Kwarihi village near Mubi, Adamawa State and later there were reports that she was likely 4-months pregnant.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that Boko Haram listed 19 sect commanders for the swap with 30 Chibok girls.
