Monday, 31 May 2021: Members of the Wesley Guild, Methodist Cathedral of Grace, Kubwa, Abuja were full of thanksgiving to God Almighty for witnessing another anniversary of the society on Sunday May 30th 2021.

Founded in year 2010, Wesley Guild, Cathedral of Grace would have celebrated the 10th anniversary in 2020 but for the novel pandemic Corona virus which shut churches and stop gathering of faithful to worship God virtually in every part of the world.

As they gathered to appreciate God, Guilders as members of the Wesley Guild are known among Methodists members, were full of praises, adoration and thanksgiving for seen them through the first and second wave of Covid-19.

Members of the Society were led in the affirmation and oath of total commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and his church in the earth by the President of Wesley Guild and Presbyter of Methodist Cathedral of Grace, Kubwa, the Very Rev. Sola Ala JP.

Earlier in his sermon, Master Heritage Okafor of the Cathedral Sunday School Children Department who preached the word, been the Sunday allotted for children celebration in Methodist Church Nigeria admonished parents not to pronounce curses on their children.

He charged parents to be of good examples in prayer, studying of the Bible and good human relations because children learn and copy their parents a lot.

Side attractions included recitation and drama by the children while the Wesley Guild wine and dine during a reception after the church service.
