The Lagos State police command has confirmed the death of an officer who was reported dead in his car, parked at the entrance gate of high barracks, Ikeja on November 102015.

Agi Elias, until his sudden death was attached to safer high way patrol Lagos but on Corporal to Sergeant Promotion course in Police Training School (PTS) Ikeja.

Preliminary investigations carried out so far revealed that tablets and some poisonous substances littered around his corpse while still inside his car.

His body has been recovered and deposited at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital mortuary, while the investigation of the case has been taking over by the Homicide section of SCIID Yaba, with a view to ascertaining the cause of death, according to a release by the state public relation officer of the force, DSP Joe Offor.
