
Former Super Eagles left-back Taye Taiwo has backed the Golden Eaglets to get a victory in their second game of the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup against hosts Chile.
The match kicks off 12 midnight Tuesday.
"The match against Chile will be tougher than the first one surely. I hope they win.
"Nigeria have produced great players from the U-17 World Cup like Nwankwo Kanu, Celestine Babayaro, Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi and others. We expect that a new generation that will be world-class players will emerge," Taiwo told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Current holders and four-time champions, Nigeria, started the defence of their title with a 2-0 win against USA on Saturday night while Chile were held to a 1-1 draw by Croatia.
Striker Victor Osimhen is expected to play in the Nigeria versus Chile game after he resumed training with the team following his minor injury sustained against USA.
