Christian have been urged to devote their time and resources towards the growth of the church.

The Bishop of  Badagry Anglican Diocese, Rt.Reverend Babatunde, gave the advise while delievering a sermon at the closing service for this year’s second session of the sixth synod of Ibadan North Diocese held at the cathedral of saint peters, Aremo, Ibadan.

Rt. Reverend Babatunde Adeyemi noted that this would help to strengthen their faith in God.

The cleric who expressed sadness about the nonchalant attitude of Christians to the service of God reminded them that the time for them to turn to God is now and called on all members of the diocese to make heaven their ultimate goal.

Presiding Bishop of the Ecclesiastical provine of Ibadan and the Lord Bishop of Ibadan North Diocese, Most Reverend Segun Okubadejo appreciated God for the successful completion of the synod.

The theme for this year’s synod is “A city yet to come”
