Rivers State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has challenged the National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Lai Mohammed to react to a recent media report, detailing how his party allegedly connived to swindle Rivers State of over N11 million purportedly for an APC session at the UK House of Commons.

Mr Jerry Needam, media aide to the state PDP Chairman, in a statement, said: “This is just one of several acts of corruption foisted on the state by APC

“The stolen N11.08 million was not only endorsed but was also pocketed as there was no such journey to the United Kingdom under any guise.

“This has fortunately exposed the hue and cry by the APC about fight against corruption as pretentions and spurious for demons can only align to strengthen their powers than fight themselves.”
