The Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPs) has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Managing Director and CEO of CEOAFRICA, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, following the passing of his father, Chief Ogbuefi Clement Nwagbogu Ilobanafor, fondly known as Esesuo Agbara, who transitioned on June 22, 2025, at the venerable age of 93.
In a condolence letter jointly signed by the National Chairman, Pharm. Scholastica M. Lan, and the National Secretary, Pharm. Ngozi J. Egboh, the association described the transition of the revered patriarch as a deeply emotional moment, while submitting fully to the will of God.
According to the National Chairman, the late Chief Ilobanafor lived “a fulfilled and inspiring sojourn on earth,” marked by courage, integrity, and visionary leadership. She noted that he would be remembered as a distinguished community leader, patriot, and a father whose values continue to resonate through his children and all who encountered him.
Pharm. Lan acknowledged the profound pain associated with the loss of a father, stating that losing Ogbuefi Clement Nwagbogu Ilobanafor is particularly difficult because of the deep bond, guidance, and love shared between a father and his children.
Reflecting on faith and hope, the ALPs National Chairman further noted that the end of life in this world represents a transition from mortality to immortality, where a new life begins in God’s paradise. She expressed confidence that the late Chief now rests in peace, embraced by divine mercy, while his legacies of service and uprightness endure.
The association also commended Prince Cletus Ilobanafor for his resilience, strength of character, and steadfast leadership over the years, expressing confidence that these qualities would sustain him and his family through the period of bereavement, despite what it described as an irreparable loss.
The letter concluded with prayers for divine guidance and comfort, as the Ilobanafor family makes arrangements for the final rites of passage of their patriarch.
The Association of Lady Pharmacists reaffirmed its solidarity with Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, the Ilobanafor family, and the Oze̱gu community, praying for fortitude, peace, and eternal rest for the departed elder statesman.
