Nigerians living in Rivers State trooped to Stanley Nwabali's father's house in the state to celebrate after Nigeria defeated South Africa on penalties to reach the AFCON finals.

Following Nigeria's victory, the goalkeeper of Nigeria's national team Super Eagles, Stanley Nwabali, received praise from Nigerians thanks to his saves.

Those on social media shared his photos while those living in Rivers state made their way to the goalkeeper's father's house.

Videos shared online show some Nigerians on motorcycles, while others jogged and sang victory songs as they headed to the star's father's house to celebrate.
