All road led to Inyi Town in Oji River Local Government of Enugu State on December 30th 2023 as dignitaries from all walks of life gathered for the wedding ceremony between Esther Uchenna Uwaezuoke, the niece of CEOAfrica boss, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, and Engineer Ernest Onyinye Umeh which took place at HolyGhost Catholic Church Parish in Abor, Inyi, Enugu State. The occasion was filled with joy as the families celebrated the union with a church wedding and a vibrant traditional marriage ceremony.
During the traditional marriage ceremony, numerous prayers were offered for the newlyweds, ensuring a blessed start to their journey together. As the couple enjoyed their special day, there was an abundance of merriment . Friends and families of the couple gave heartfelt toasts of love, and outstanding performances on the dance floor were deserving of awards.
In an interview with CEO Africa correspondent, Mr. Anayo Uwaezuoke, the father of the bride expressed his joy and advised the couple to embrace courage in the face of whatever challenges may come their way in their marital journey. He offered his best wishes and support for their future.
Ms. Joy Uwaezuoke, the younger sister and chief bridesmaid of the bride, also expressed her elation and advised her sister to always remain happy, pray fervently, and avoid allowing third parties to interfere in their marriage. Joy gladly wished her sister a bright future as a mother of four children soon. Meanwhile, the immediate younger sister of the bride, Faith Uwaezuoke, had tears of joy as she would miss her sister's company. She advised her sister to stay true to herself in her husband's house and wished her as many as 15 children, as long as they could be appropriately cared for.
The mother of the bride, Mrs. Ann Oby Uwaezuoke, expressed her gratitude to everyone who came to celebrate the special day with their family. She acknowledged God as their Ebenezer, recognizing His role in their lives and the successful union of Esther and Earnest.
The dashing groom, with his commanding voice, expressed his appreciation to everyone and conveyed his joy in finally crossing the threshold into married life. Earnest recounted how he met his wife, attributing his macho voice as one of the factors that helped win her heart.
