From Cairo, the capital city of Egypt, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the Interim government in the country has declared that it has concluded plans to charge ex-president Mohamed Morsi for charges of inciting the murder of protesters.

It was also disclosed, as gathered from sources, that fourteen other members of the Muslim Brotherhood are to stand trial on the same charge. The accusation was said to have related to violence outside the presidential palace last year, when at least seven people were killed in clashes.

It would be recalled that Mr. Morsi was ousted from office by the Military and since then, he has been held at a secret location. It is likely that he faces more trial, but for a start, the above-mentioned has been identified.

Since he was ousted, government had clamped down heavily on Muslim Brotherhood members, a clash which led to the death of thousands last month.
