The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has won in all the 11 local government areas of Gombe State, as declared on Sunday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The results were declared in the presence of political parties agents, observers and the Collation Officer for the presidential election in Gombe state, Professor Maimuna Waziri, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Gashua.

Atiku Abubakar polled a total number of 256,856 votes against presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu who scored a total of 120,663 votes across the 11 LGAs of the state.
