Chieftain  of the young people's party YPP Chief Sunday Akpanurom in Akwa Ibom State  has described the former Governor  Chief Godswill Akpabio as the Owolowo of Annang land who has sacrifice his life to defend the people of Ikot Ekpene senatorial District.
Chief Akpanurom stated this in his congratulatory message to the former minister of Niger Delta Senator Godswill Akpabio over the ruling by the Supreme Court affirming him as the senatorial candidate of Apc in the Senatorial District.
According to Chief Sunday Akpanurom,  Senator Godswill Akpabio is the only voice in Annangland who have raised the younger people and turned them to be independent but unfortunately some of them are those that have  turned against him.
He said the people of Ikot Ekpene senatorial should  entrust senator  Akpabio with the mandate to continue delivering his uncommon leadership prowess in the senate in the forthcoming election
  Chief Akpanurom called on the people of the senatorial district, including members of the oppositions to join hands with Akpabio for continuation of  dividends of democracy in the area
Akpabio has always been magnanimous in victory, assuring that every part of the senatorial District will experience massive development, calling on all the political class across party line to continue supporting Senator Godswill Akpabio
Chief Sunday Jonah Akpanurom who retired as a chief driver in the ministry of Works said verdict of the Supreme Court are not infallible in the ruling adding that the YPP in Abak LGA congratulates the immediate past minister of Niger delta and former  governor of the state  on the ruling in spirit of sportsmanship even as a YPP suporter in Abak LGA.
Describing senator Godswill Akpabio the voice of the Niger Delta, Chief Akpanurom extolled the sterling leadership qualities of the former Governor and called on him to continue with his good works irrespective of attacks and tribulations.
he challenge those waging war against the former senate minority to leader to tell the world what they had achieved backed then to 2007 before Akpabio became the governor that finally put food on their table.
