There are strong indica­tions that peace has final­ly returned to the riverine and agrarian community of Illushi in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State after a series of communal clashes that claimed lives following the intervention of the Police Commission­er, Mohammed Dankwara.
The crisis occasioned by the clashes has kept the people and other stake­holders on their toes.
Commercial activities in the community, it was gathered, have been stalled, while farming activities have either been suspended or at a very low ebb during the period of the crisis.
