Three-day orientation and vocational training kicks off at FCAH&PT

All road heads for the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT), Moor Plantation, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State, where lots of events are going on now.
The college had earlier announced that its annual orientation programme for her new students starts at exactly 9:00 am, this morning.
In addition to the orientation exercise, the college, in conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, also holds vocational training for the general public.
This is a lifetime opportunity no one would ever wish to miss, as the training spans through several aspects of Animal Technology, in addition to other things.
The Provost, Dr Adekoya Olatunde Owosibo, together with Registrar, Bursar, Auditor, Medical Representative, Dean of Student, Librarian, Director of Academic planning, among others, will be addressing the students this morning, in the course of the orientation.
The event, holding at the college, is scheduled in two sessions daily, 9:00 am and 11:00 am, respectively.
After the orientation from the principal officers, the second session will be a lecture on “Life on Campus: How to Navigate by Dr Yinka Adedeji and Dr Moshood Popoola.
The two sessions tomorrow, Wednesday, will involve lectures on “Emotional Intelligence: A Vital Recipe for Academic Excellence” by Mr Oluwaseunla Adeniyan and “Understanding of Drug Use and Its Impact on Student Life” by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The final day, Thursday, will include a seminar on “Menace of Cultism in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions: The Way out” by the Department of State Services (DSS) and a Breakout Session (Based on Gender)—talks specifically relating to each gender, at various location, by Dr Tinuade Ajani and Pharm. Kunle Omole.
The vocational training will still be ongoing within the three days, don’t be told!!!
