The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has said the quick intervention of President Buhari has put a stop to bandits and other criminal elements attacking the State.

Uzodinma disclosed this on Tuesday during the President’s visit to Commission some projects executed by the Governor.

The Governor appreciated President Buhari for intervening in the Security crisis harassing the State and other parts of the South-East.

“Your prompt intervention helped to restore peace and order in our State. But for your timely, prompt and fatherly intervention through the security Agencies, Imo State would have been overrun by bandits and hoodlums. For this, I also say thank you Mr President,”

CEOAFRICA had earlier reported that Buhari Inaugurated the 36km dual carriageway of Owerri-Orlu road in Imo.

The President later met with the South-East leader while other Governors of the South-East were noticeably absent.
