A Coalition of Northern Groups, CNG, has called on youths in the country to desist from all forms of social media abuse over challenges facing the country and express their anger by picking their Permanent Vote Cards to vote for credible leaders during the 2023 general elections.

The Director of Strategic Communications of the CNG, Samaila Musa made the call during a sensitization walk titled ‘Get Your PVC to Rescue and Rebuild Nigeria’ in Minna, the Niger State capital.

He said the power to effect the desired change can only be achieved by obtaining the PVCs. He bemoaned the low turnout of the people from the northern region for the registration, revalidation, and collection of their PVCs in the country.

According to him, “the youth own the country considering their population strength and should resist any attempt to hijack the nation and must ensure the political narratives are changed in the forthcoming general elections”.

Also, the Coalition Board of Trustee Chairman, Dr Nastura Ashir Sharif in his remarks, encouraged Nigerians especially the Nigerlites to vote for credible leaders that have the nation at heart devoid of tribal, regional, or religious sentiment.
