The abducted supervisor, who was kidnapped while working at the farm of a former governor of Oyo State, late Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, has regained his freedom.

The supervisor was abducted on Saturday in the farm named TDB farms, located in Jabata, Surulere Local Government Area in Oyo State, CEOAFRICA reported.

The kidnappers had earlier demanded for the sum of N100m as ransom.

But on Thursday morning, a close source to the Alao-Akala family confirmed that he has been freed by his abductors.

According to the source, the supervisor was released on Tuesday after the sum of N5m was paid as ransom.
