Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has replied Dele Momodu for saying that Peter Obi has no chance to win the presidential seat.

Recall that Peter Obi emerged as the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) to the excitement of many Nigerian youths.

However, during an interview with Dele Momodu on TV, he stated that Obi cannot win the presidential election from a local party like the Labour Party.

He made this statement when asked if Obi has a chance to win the 2023 presidential election.

According to Momodu, the party does not have enough resources to fund his aspirations and Obi will be the one helping the party out financially.

He further stated that Obi lacked the funds to tackle top politicians like PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar who recently emerged as the party’s presidential candidate.

Reacting to this, Peter Okoye replied Momodu stating that Obi might not have all the money in the world, but has the youths and masses behind him.

He wrote;

“With all due Respect Sir Mr Dele Momodu! Yes Peter Obi might not have the money and structure! But he has the Youths,The Masses and The People now!. The truth is that we the people are the structure. We are many and we are powerful💪🏾. We are Obi-deint✊🏾 we can not be distracted.

“It is now beyond d delegates. D masses will control d outcome of d election. Will they vote for the candidate who paid delegates thousands of dollars to emerge as candidates or vote for Peter Obi who has plans to change Nigeria from consumption to production?

“You people don’t understand the

hardship and abject poverty that will hit us if

Peter Obi doesn’t win. It’s not about the North or South here, it’s about who will save us, the country is crumbling on all sectors, people are dying unnecessarily, all these rubbish must stop.
