Photo News: FCAHPT Partners, VHL, OAU to organise on Dairy Value Chain

The Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT) Moor Plantation, Ibadan, in collaboration with Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife and Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Science, Netherlands, on Friday concluded the 2-week training on NUFFIC Tailor-Made Training.
The training with the theme "Strengthening capacities for Institutional Staff and Lead Women along the Dairy Value Chain in South Western, Nigeria," started on the 9th-20th of May,2022.
The training was held in two different institutions; first, at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (9th-14th) and Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (15th-20th).
It was funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the NUFFIC program and co-funded by FCAH&PT and OAU.
In his welcoming address, the College Provost, Dr. Adekoya Owosibo, described the training as Train the Trainers.


According to him, the program is geared towards strengthening, empowering and equipping the Institutional staff and women involved in the Dairy Value Chain in Nigeria.
Owosibo urged the participants to ensure that all they acquired during the training is transferred to the end users, so that the country will benefit from it.
The Provost, while speaking with CEOAFRICA reporter stated that the participants were selected from three different institutions in Nigeria; Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan and Federal College of Technology, Akure.
