Unknown gunmen on Tuesday morning invaded Ekwulobia town in the Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, killing a male of the Anambra Traffic Management Agency (ATMA).

According to report, it was not yet clear if the men are armed robbers, cultists or bandits operating in the guise of unknown gunmen as they have come to be known.

It was learnt that the unidentified officer who was controlling traffic at the Ekwulobia junction was gunned down, with a bullet shattering his head from behind.
