A Catholic Priest, Rev Fr Joseph Shekari, in Chawai, a community in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State has been abducted by terrorists.

The attack also left the cook of the priest dead.

It was learnt that the assailants stormed the parish house at about 11.30pm on Sunday, February 6. They allegedly fired gunshots killing the cook before whisking the clergyman to an unknown destination.

The assailants are yet to make any contact with the parish house or the family of the abducted clergyman.
