Armed political thugs suspected to be from one of the factional groups within the ruling All Progressives Congress have again attacked the campaign office of former governor of Osun State now Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

The attack was launched at the premises shortly after members of the Aregbesola led faction rounded up their weekly meeting in the premises.

While the meeting was on, men of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps were stationed to provide security and the hoodlums stormed the place immediately the security operatives left the place.

The hoodlums shot at the four-storey building called Ayinke House and shattered the windows. They also shot at the transformer located in the premises with the hope to ignite the fire from it but for the fact that there was a power outage.

The thugs also attempted to set the canopy and some other goods items ablaze which was later put off when the hoodlums left.

One of the armed thugs was later arrested by security operatives and has been taken away by the security operatives
