Friday 5th Nov.2021:The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has disclaimed a trending photograph involving Obi Cubana and some officials which the socialites publicist claimed to be EFCC staff.
Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi cubana was in the selfie with a dozen people, posed in the picture smiling.
Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC spokesman, in a statement on Friday dismissed the rumour saying the individuals are not the agency’s staff thereby advising the public “not to be misled by another mischievous stunt by Cubana’s publicists.”
The Anambra-born club owner was at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja for about 3 days.
Obi Cubana was grilled for alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
The businessman faces a “serious case”, according to sources.
Reports also claim that Investigations are still ongoing.
