Tuesday 2nd Nov.2021:All seem to be on course as Tottenham fc Director Daniel levy has convinced Italian Manager, Antonio Conte to take over at the club.
Reports claim that , Conte has arrived in London and will meet with Tottenham later this afternoon, according to Sky in Italy.
The former Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan head coach has been offered an 18-month contract to succeed the recently sacked Nuno Espirito Santo in the Spurs dugout.
Sports reporter Paul Gilmour, disclosed this morning in an interview,
"Things moving very quickly indeed with Antonio Conte in London for talks with Tottenham, Sky in Italy are reporting, and that this is in the final stages of negotiations.
"Talks will continue today, but what a coup this will be for Tottenham, whose fans will be forgiven for thinking we have been here before.
"They tried to get Conte in the summer, he was a key target for them, but it did not happen. In fact, it was the beginning of being a long-drawn-out saga.
"The negotiations continue, with Tottenham saying they will give an update on the  coaching situation later today and if those negotiations continue quickly, then Conte could be in charge for that Vitesse Arnhem match in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
"If not, then Ryan Mason has stepped in before and is still at the club.
"Either way, Conte will be in a strong negotiating position in this deal because if it does fall through again, you can imagine the outcry from all concerned around Tottenham FC, while given their recent results and the performances have fallen away, he will be in a strong position to dictate the terms.”
As the race for top spots at the EPL hots up,Tottenham fc administrators are leaving no stone unturned to ensure qualifications are assured.
