Thursday 21st Oct.2021:Zayn Ali Salman was just four years old when he caught the attention of one of London’s biggest football clubs.
He is the youngest-ever recruit to the Arsenal pre-academy after his skills had him running rings round players twice his age.
“my name is Zayn Ali Salman, I am 4 years old,my favourite team is Arsenal’ the wonder-kid said in a recent interview
His coach at his team Ben Schofield disclosed “We put him in teams with four,five,six-year-olds and already he was head and shoulders above everyone. Just a lot quicker than them and alot more willing to go and get the ball.the way he kicks a ball,the way he passes the ball was so much better than everyone else. So then we progressed him on, I spoke to his dad and he wanted to try him with the older ones and I said why not so he gets on”.
Zayn’s ability caught the attention of talent scout from Arsenal fc
The London clubs Talent scout,Stephen Deans said “this kid is doing something that he shouldn’t be doing for his age.The way he’s striking the ball,it just looked too sharp for someone that age, so I called my friend and he said he’s 4, I said no, it cant be. He cant be in nursery. I need to speak to his parents and from there now we are here.”
His father was full of praises for his son saying he knew he was a special child from the moment he was born.
Having just turned 5,Zayn continues to receive offers from several other big name clubs in Europe
