Thursady- 17^th June, 2021: Some undisclosed number of students of the Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State have been abducted by armed men suspected to be bandits.

Details of the incident are still sketchy but according to report. There are reports that a security operative was shot dead during the operation.

The state’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Nafiu Abubakar was unable to take his calls and could not respond to text message forwarded to him as at press time.
