Amotekun arrests suspected bandits with AK47, dane gun in Lanlate town, Oyo state

Thursday, 17th June 2021: Oyo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun Corps, has arrested two suspected bandits with AK47 riffle, pump action and a dane gun.

The suspected hoodlums identified as Mumini Saliu (45yrs) and Ibrahim Suleiman (25yrs), are said to be Fulanis, and were apprehended by Amotekun Operatives around Ibarapa East Local Government area at Alapa Village, Lanlate.

The Operatives, however, recovered 82 rounds, 7.62 ammunition and 7 cartridges amongst other harmful weapons.

The suspected bandits have been handed over to the Director of State Security Services, Oyo State Command for further investigation.
