FCAH&PT unveils short term training as ‘profitable pig business in today’s world’ holds June 29th

Wednesday, 16th June 2021: Federal College of Animal Health & Production Technology, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria has come up with another package to enhance farmers’ productivity and financial capability as her School of Short Term Training announced short term training on “Profitable Pig Business in Today’s world”.

This short term training is scheduled to hold on 29th - 30th June at the AERES International Alumni Training Centre FCAH&PT, Moor Plantation, Apata Ibadan. The two-day training cost only N20, 000.

According to a statement from the organizers, the Provost of the institution, Dr. Adekoya Owosibo, is expected to declare the training open on the 29th of June 2021.

Part of the courses of study in the training include but not limited to the following: Selection of Breeding stock, Pig husbandry and management, feed, raw materials and feeding, and artificial insemination. Others include, Post Africa swine fever farming, strict biosecurity for profitable farming, marketing with marketing strategy.
