Babalola is Lead Speaker at 5th biennial conference of OWSD in Umudike, Abia state

Monday, 14th June 2021: The Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Prof. Peace Chinedum Babalola will feature as the Lead Speaker in the 2021 5th biennial international conference of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), Nigeria chapter which holds from 14th to 17th June 2021.

According to a statement signed by Professor Olayinka Nwachukwu, chairperson of the Local Organizing Committee, the conference with the theme: “Making Research Count in National Development: The Role of Women Scientists”, would hold at Anyim Puis Auditorium, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, (MOUA), Umudike, Abia State.

Other leader speaker is Dr Omobola Awosika Oyeleye from the United States of America.

The Executive Director, Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa, (FARA) in Accra, Ghana, Dr Yemi Akinbamijo, is the Guest Speaker.
