The whereabouts of Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, is currently unknown.

The Ohanaeze N'digbo Youth Council Worldwide, (OYC), raised the alarm on Wednesday, charging the Federal Government to produce him before 48hours.

The Buhari government’s supporter turned critic recently made newspapers’ headlines when he asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign or be impeached if he cannot handle the deplorable security situation in the country.

OYC revealed Father Mbaka has not been seen publicly since Tuesday, adding that all calls to his mobile lines have been unanswered since, while the whereabouts of his aides too is still questionable.

The youth wing of the Ohaneze N’digbo warned that “Let nothing happened to Father Ejike Mbaka, it would not be in anybody’s interest.

“We are given the Federal Government 48 hours to produce the priest; else they should be ready to face Igbo youths. They were dining and wining with him all along and now that he told the truth, they are no longer comfortable with him.”

The cleric of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, southeast Nigeria has been in the news after he asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign.

This was followed by a revelation by the presidency that he was attacking Buhari because he was refused a contract.
