Sigma Pensions Limited as part of its effort to educate its pensioners and prospective pensions holds retirees forums frequently across the nation. Such of which was held recently in Sokoto, Ondo and Ekiti states

Ceoafrica gatherd that both events had in attendance, hundreds of retirees and prospective retirees, National Pension Commission officials and some management staff of Sigma Pensions.

The Sigma Pensions staff took the retirees through the processes of accessing their pension benefits at retirement among other issues of the Contributory Pension Scheme.

They were also told about the need to save for the future and the accessibility of the programmed withdrawal and annuity.

Commenting on the retirees foras, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Sigma Pensions Limited, Alhaji Umaru H. Modibbo, said “we have Retiree Foras every month and we rotate it among the six geo-political zones.”

“At these sessions, we educate them on the withdrawal options available, resolve and clarify questions raised, update their biodata, prepare them for retirement through our advisory services” he explained.

“The message to workers is to save more so that when they retire, it will be possible to maintain their life style. Our focus is to continue to service our retirees diligently and to make them feel secured in retirement” he noted.
