Federal High Courts to go on X-mas Vacation

The Federal High Court of Nigeria will embark on a 19-day Christmas holiday starting on December 21st, 2016 and ending on January 6th, 2017.
In a statement signed by the Chief Registrar, Emmanuel Gakko, the court said its holiday would last till January next year.
The statement reads “The Federal High Court of Nigeria wishes to notify the general public, litigants and lawyers that the honourable court’s Christmas vacation for year 2016 shall commence on Wednesday 21st December and would end on Friday 6th January 2017. The court will resume sitting in all judicial divisions on Monday, January 9, 2017.”
