Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, Governor-elect, Rotimi Akeredolu, during a visit by the Governor-elect to the Governor's office, in Akure, on Wednesday.
Ondo State Governor-elect, Rotimi Akeredolu has paid a visit to the out-going Governor, Olusegun Mimiko at the Governor’s Office on Wednesday 14th December, 2016.
Governor Mimiko received Akeredolu and his delegates at the Government house in the state capital, Akure.
CEOAfrica recalls that upon announcement of Akeredolu as the winner of the state’s gubernatorial elections which held on the 26th of November, 2016, Governor Mimiko sent a congratulatory message to the Governor-elect, wishing him “success in the challenging task of governing the state.”
It would also be recalled that Akeredolu promised not to probe Mimiko's administration, saying that " my mandate is to govern, not to probe past administration."
Also present at the official visit are; Ondo State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo; Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, Yele Ogundipe; former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Victor Olabimtan among others.
