Boko Haram terrorist, Lawal Aboi, has surrendered to the Nigerian Army, saying he has become tired of fighting.

The terrorist, who was intercepted along Damboa-Bale road by troops of the Nigerian Army, said he was already on his way to voluntarily surrender to the troops in Damboa because he was tired of fighting for no just cause.

This follows an earlier arrest of a high profile Boko Haram terrorist, Mohammed Zauro, at Sabon Gari, Damboa Local Government Area of Borno.

This was disclosed in a statement e-mailed to CEOAFRICA source by the spokesperson of the Nigerian Army, Colonel Sani Usman.

Usman said both suspects were under further interrogation.
