A legal luminary, Femi Aborisade has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to probe an oil firm,  Sahara energy if he is serious about the anti corruption crusade.

Aborisade said the president must launch probe into the activities of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The human rights activists who said corruption in NNPC and CBN is far incomparable than the military, called on the president to make the fight against corruption holistic and must not be discriminatory in his approach.

Aborisade spoke yesterday in Akure during the Colloquium in honour of the late legal icon and founder of the National Conscience Party (NCP), late Gani Fawehinmi, themed: “The State of the Nation, If Gani Were to Be Alive.”

He also identified greed of the political class as one of the greatest challenges responsible for the present economic crisis confronting Nigeria as a nation.

According to him, “the fight against corruption must commence from the NNPC and CBN. The federal government should investigate and probe these organisations. “
