
The management of the Nigerian Professional Football League has been urged to strictly monitor the match between Rangers FC and Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi to ensure fairness.
The management of Rangers International FC of Enugu made the call in an interview News Agency of Nigeria in Enugu on Saturday
CEOAFRICA source, NAN reports that the NPFL Match Day 25 between the two top league leaders will take place at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi by 4pm on Sunday.
The Rangers’ Media Manager, Foster Chime, told NAN that the management of the NPFL should ensure fairness and impartial officiating during the match.
Chime said the club was also calling for adequate security before, during and after the encounter.
He said:
“This will also help to present and portray Nigeria’s league in good light to the soccer world.
“Rangers is well prepared for this encounter and we have left nothing to chance in our preparation.”
Rangers FC is placed second on the NPFL league table with 39 points from 23 matches, while Wikki Tourist is first with 41 points from same number of matches.
